Student Presentation and Uniform
The emphasis is always on neatness and good grooming. Students are expected to adhere to the College expectations with regards to:
- College Uniform

- Make-up
- Casual Dress Standards
- Sun Protection
College Uniform
All students are expected to have the correct full College uniform and to take pride in it. A good public image is important and this should be promoted at all times. If, on a particular day, a student is unable to wear any part of the uniform, an INCORRECT UNIFORM NOTE (located in the back of the Planner) must be completed by the student's Parent/Carer and presented to their Tutor at the beginning of the day. Such a note would cover uniform articles at the dry cleaners, the intention to buy a new pair of shoes as soon as possible, etcetera (this does not apply to sports uniform as students without correct sports attire wear their normal College uniform).

UNIFORM AND PUBLIC IMAGE
Students are not permitted to wear "parts" of the uniform in public or to wear a mixture of the old and new College Uniforms. A good public image is essential and this should be promoted at all times.
The students who do not have the correct sports uniform are required to wear their full school uniform to school on sports day and change into appropriate sports gear after lunch.
Students must wear their full correct sports uniform home when sport finishes.
Students are to show their respect for the College by wearing their uniform properly at all times. This applies from the time they leave home of a morning until the time they return home at the end of the day.
HAIR CUTS/STYLES
THE EMPHASIS IS ALWAYS ON NEATNESS AND GOOD GROOMING
Specifically, Boys' hair is not to exceed collar length or cover the ears, and fringes should not go below the eyebrow level. Furthermore, facial hair, including side burns and ‘goatees', is not permissible. Short hair is not to be less than a No. 4 blade.
Specifically, Girls' hair is to be neat and tidy. The fringe is not to be below the eyebrows and longer hair is to be tied back at all times with a navy or white ribbon. Black, navy or white hair bands may be worn. Excessive use of hair clips is not permissible.
Rinses are not to significantly alter the student's natural hair colour. Undercuts, step hair cuts and "Bali" style braiding are not permissible. Furthermore, students are not to apply bleach or dye to their hair. Light use of hair gel is permitted.
The Dean of Students has the final decision on hair styles of students whilst at the College.
JEWELLERY
Students are permitted to wear one plain ring. Students are permitted to wear a thin gold or silver plain chain around their necks. Girls may wear one set of either plain sleepers or plain studs in their ear lobes. Boys and girls may wear a plain silver or gold bracelet. No other type of jewellery is permissible. Any other body piercing requiring studs or sleepers which is visible while wearing the College uniform is not acceptable.
MAKE-UP
The wearing of make-up with College uniform is inappropriate and not permitted.
CASUAL DRESS STANDARDS
On very few occasions, students will be given permission to wear Casual Dress for College activities and functions. All casual clothing is to be appropriate and modest and to meet the standards provided below:
Covered footwear is to be worn by all students to ensure their safety. For example, sandshoes, joggers and skate shoes are all acceptable.
All shirts are to have sleeves.
In addition, the following standards of dress must be met:

- No strapless or shoestring tops or dresses;
- No mid-rift to be showing;
- No miniskirts or micro-shorts;

If doubtful, students must check the suitability of an article of clothing with the relevant Head of House prior to it being worn.
SUN PROTECTION
Students must have Trinity headwear if they wish to sit, relax, walk, work or play in the sun during Terms 1 and 4. If they do not have hats, they are to stay in the shade. This will be the procedure for student activities before school, at recess and lunchtime, and during classes that are outdoor-based. It is especially relevant for Sports Day.
